Pitching My Tent: Planning the month

I’m taking part in July’s Camp Nanowrimo. Of course, as I’ve somehow managed to book up nearly all of my spare time, I’ve had to schedule out my month.

This way, I know how much I can feasibly write per day and not worry about missing my word count go and/or miss out socially.

Below is my calendar for the month. I will be using lunch times at work (Mon-Fri), car journeys (as a passenger, obviously) and other various periods of down-time to complete my mission: write at least 12,000 words.

Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun Weekly total
Week 1

400 400 400 400 600 2,200
Week 2 400 400 400 400 400 200 400 2,600
Week 3 400 400 400 400 800 200 800 3,400
Week 4 400 400 400 400 200 200 800 2,800
Week 5 200 200 200 200 200

Oh, it may not seem like a lot, but it’s another fifth of my book complete in a single month. Possibly more, if I exceed my word count. It’s progress, and it’ll be fun, and that’s all that matters.

Good luck to everyone taking part!
(& let me know if you are and how you get on).
